This cemetery is a history of people. A perpetual record of yesterday and a sanctuary of peace and quiet today. This cemetery exists because every life is worth loving and remembering.

Cemeteries are more than places where stones lie on the ground. Cemeteries hold the stories of people who have lived. People that shaped our past and our future.

Daniels County Cemetery is located 1 mile west of Scobey on Highway 248. For many years it was known as the Scobey Cemetery, the City of Scobey provided the care and upkeep.

Due to other residents of Daniels County and beyond using the cemetery, it was offered to the voters to make it a county cemetery. The taxpayers of District 1 decided to form the cemetery district in 2000. Daniels County became responsible for the cemetery and its care.
