The Daniels County Cemetery app is operated by Manternach Technology, LLC. We are committed to being straightforward about how this app works. In short: we collect as little as possible, we do not sell your data, and your location never leaves your device.
The app requests access to your device's location to power the Compass feature, which points you toward a grave site while you are physically in the cemetery. Your location is used only in real time on your device and is never transmitted to our servers, stored, or shared with any third party.
If you choose to report an error using the in-app button, your device's Mail app will open a pre-addressed message. Any information you include is sent directly to us through your personal email account and is used only to correct errors in the cemetery records. Submitting a report is entirely optional.
The app retrieves publicly available cemetery records from danielscountycemetery.com. No personal information about you is transmitted as part of these requests.
The app does not knowingly collect any personal information from children under the age of 13, and nothing in the app is directed at children.
We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date at the top. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
